However, as a foreigner it is nearly impossible to book the free tickets to the National Museum of China-- I tried on WeChat and was never able to do it. This service worked seamlessly and also includes the special exhibition, which would be a paid additional ticket if you made the booking yourself. The tour operator provided an emailed QR code to access the museum which I had no trouble using.”
